A hungry mind doesn’t need a hungry body.

During the breaks of your German course, you are welcome to our cosy deutSCHule Café. Here, you will not only get the best coffee in Berlin: from Andraschko. Every day, our café team headed by Joe will serve you tasty and healthy snacks, which will give your head the necessary energy to concentrate on your intensive German course. Depending on the season there are regional, seasonal and mostly vegetarian/vegan snacks. We try to pay attention to organic and fair trade quality.

For the sweets gourmets, we also have delicious bonbons from the Candy Farm in our assortment.

Work and relaxation

Before or after your German course you have the opportunity to relax in the deutSCHule Café, meet friends or, of course, do your homework. We offer you free WiFi and a cosy atmosphere.

The green oasis in Berlin

In the middle of the deutSCHule you also have a Berlin highlight at your disposal: our green oasis – the roof terrace. Not only smokers meet here. In the summer it invites you to sunbathe. And with a little luck, you can even harvest our strawberries.

Art in the deutSCHule

Twice a year we hold a vernissage in the café of the deutSCHule. Young artists who have attended a German course at our school exhibit their art in our café and corridors. If you would like to present your works of art at the deutSCHule, just send us an e-mail or contact our office.
