Talk to me in German! - on an A2 Level

In the German A2 course, you will learn to deal with a variety of authentic materials, such as audio and video recordings, discussions, and games. This will help you expand your vocabulary with interesting words that are common in Germany, as well as everyday phrases that you can use in your daily life. You will also learn other important sentence-building possibilities and get a feeling for using the language in a goal-oriented way.

We’ll keep things fun and engaging, so you’ll never want to miss a class. After all, you want to get beyond the mini sentences of the A1 course eventually. And to be able to express feelings, and who knows, maybe you’ll even find love along the way. After all, “Ich liebe dich” may sound a little funny, but it’s a lot more effective than “I like you.”

Language level German A2

In the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), A2 German stands for basic language skills. This means that you will expand your vocabulary to include things and topics from your everyday life and immediate environment. You will be able to communicate in familiar, everyday situations, such as buying groceries, asking for directions, or making small talk. You can talk about yourself in simple sentences and ask for precise information. Your grammar toolbox will be extended accordingly and will enable you to make more differentiated statements.

But don’t worry, you won’t have to learn all of the grammar rules right away. We’ll start with the basics and gradually build up your knowledge.
